A film profiling the active nonviolence and force of Minnesota immigrants and neighbors standing together during the ICE surge of 2026.

Thursday, October 15th at 7pm followed by discussion with film team and participants. Tickets are required. Admission is free : a suggested donation minimum of $10. As Ice operations spread fear and danger in the Twin Cities, Minnesotans showed the power of kindness, courage and community-wide actions as they united with their immigrant neighbors. Their stories provide inspiration and guidance for communities everywhere.

The October 15, 2026 premiere in Minneapolis precedes the many screenings in communities across the US during United Against Hate Week.

From the Not In Our Town Filmmaking Team: It was the overwhelming love in the face of cruelty and violence that convinced Not In Our Town to document responses to the Minnesota ICE Surge in early 2026. Today, the threat remains, yet the effectiveness of the strategies emerging from the Twin Cities are clear. For us, it is vital that Americans across the country learn the stories of ordinary people who banded together as their neighbors, their town, and their country faced a dire threat.
