Seating

Stadium seating, although the new megaplexes advertise it as a new concept, has been available at the Riverview since 1949. Balconies and stadium seating disappeared in the 60s when multiplexes were being built in malls. However, it wasn't because customers didn't like them. It was easier and cheaper to build theaters without them.

You can now have your choice of over 700 seats on either the main floor or in the stadium seating section. New high-backed rocker seats with lift-up cupholder armrests were installed on the main floor in December 2007.
